Resolution to call for the impeachment of President George Bush and Vice President Richard Cheney was defeated 28-23.
- Rumney School Meetings: Two meetings will be held. One meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on February 20, 2007 at the Middlesex Town Hall, and the other will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 5, 2007 at the Rumney School Library. These meetings will provide information on the articles to be voted by Australian ballot at Town Meeting.
- U32 School Meeting: A meeting will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007 to provide information on the articles to be voted by Australian ballot at Town Meeting. The meeting will be held at U-32 in room 131 and will begin at 6:00 P.M.
- Petitioned Articles must be in the Town Clerk’s Office by January 25, 2007.
- Anyone wanting to run for a municipal office needs to pick up their petition at the Town Clerk’s Office. The deadline for petitions is January 29, 2007.
- Town Reports will be in the mail by February 22, 2007.
- Deadline to get on the Voter Checklist for town meeting is February 26, 2007. (Vermont Application for Addition to the Checklist)
