RE: ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Absentee ballots may be requested, or if you would like to vote early, come on into the office. Because this Article was inadvertently left off the school town meeting ballot, ANYONE WHO REQUESTED AN ABSENTEE BALLOT FOR TOWN MEETING IS AUTOMATICALLY BEING SENT AN ABSENTEE BALLOT TO THE SAME ADDRESS. Be it known, that if you are now in the area, and are planning on coming in to vote on the 25th.  YOU MUST BRING YOUR ABSENTEE PACKET WITH YOU. Or you will not be able to vote.

The last day to apply to the Middlesex Voter Checklist for this vote is Monday, April, 17, 2006.

U-32 Vote on May 23, 2006

May 23, 2006: U-32 Vote:
Yea: 243
Nay: 576
(Registered: 1332)

MIDDLESEX TOWN CLERK’S OFFICE

On May 23rd, there will be a Special U-32 District Meeting for the purpose of a Re-Vote of Article 10 that was voted on at Town Meeting. The polls will be open from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

ARTICLE 1. In 2004 voters authorized the borrowing of $200,000 to purchase a central office facility to reduce central office administrative costs. Shall the voters approve, as an additional option, authorizing the Board to use these same funds for the renovations of a building?

This Article is in regards to renovating the old St. Michael’s school in Montpelier on Barre Street. The Montpelier Senior Center is currently one of the tenants of this building.

There will be a public information meeting at U32 in room 131 on Monday, May 15 at 7:00 pm.   If this topic is of interest to you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE attend this meeting. You will be able to ask questions of your U32 School Board.

Any questions regarding this Article should be directed to Rob LeClair, U32 School Board Director representing the Town of Middlesex.

RE: ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Absentee ballots may be requested, or if you would like to vote early, come on into the office. Because this Article was originally voted on at Town Meeting, ANYONE WHO REQUESTED AN ABSENTEE BALLOT FOR TOWN MEETING IS AUTOMATICALLY BEING SENT AN ABSENTEE BALLOT TO THE SAME ADDRESS. Be it known, that if you are now in the area, and are planning on coming in to vote on the 23rd.  YOU MUST BRING YOUR ABSENTEE PACKET WITH YOU. Or you will not be able to vote.

The last day to apply to the Middlesex Voter Checklist for this vote is Monday, May 15, 2006.
