Middlesex Select Board Meeting

Present: Peter Hood, Walter Kelly, Mary Alexander, Mary Just Skinner, Bill Callnan, Cindy Carlson

Meeting called to order at 12:00 pm.

Mary Just Skinner reports that she received mixed reports on Wiemann-Lamphere. Bill reports that he visited the Derby Fire Station and received a good recommendation from the Derby Fire Department and felt the building was built with good quality.

Motion: Bill moves to grant the design of a new fire station to EH Danson. Mary Alexander seconds, motion carries. Walter votes no, Peter abstains.

After further discussion it was decided to meet with EH Danson prior to making a final decision on the motion. 

Peter will review the latest orders for invoicing of the winter sand. 

Motion: Bill moves to authorize Peter Hood the authority to approve invoices that need to be paid prior to the next Select Board meeting of July 24, 207. Walter seconds, motion carries. 

Peter will work with the Town Clerk to invest funds received from the State of Vermont for pre-bate tax funds into a short term CD or Money Market account.

Meeting adjourns at 12:30 pm.
