Middlesex Selectboard Minutes of April 25, 2006
Present: Walter Kelley, Cindy Carlson, Bill Callnan, Mary Alexander, Mary Just Skinner
Meeting called to order at 6:35 pm
Other Business The Court has granted Flanagan/Austin an order to dismiss the town’s counter-claim concerning the town’s right-of-way through their property. There is a discovery schedule where all written discovery is to be completed and a mediator/arbitrator/or evaluation will be scheduled prior to 10/1/06. This evaluation can be extended if motion is filed prior to 9/1/2006.
The Town’s March 30, 2006 financial report was reviewed and discussed. The Administration salary is favorable and the Highway Department may exceed its total budget. These two items will be discussed with June Lakin, Town Treasurer.
Motion: Bill moves to accept the Liquor License for Camp Meade Diner. Mary Alexander seconds, motion carries.
Motion: Bill moves approval of the following overweight permits: Michael Molleur, Dale E. Percy, Inc., Cox Trucking Inc., Clement cox, RG Paving Inc., Ray LaPerle, Dubois Construction, Inc., Lajeunesse Construction, Inc., Paul Garcia, Ran-Mar, Inc., Mclure Moving 7 storage DBA Excel Transport Inc. Walter seconds, motion carries. Correspondence:
Minutes from the Cemetery Commissioners - 3/16/06, 3/27/06, 4/17/06, 4/11/06 Copies of the minutes were given to each board member. After a quick review of the minutes the Board states they are very appreciative of the work being done by the new commissioners.
