COUNTERS NEEDED
At the 2006 Middlesex Town Meeting the question of counting machines to count ballots was put before the voters. The voters made their voice heard, and the Article was defeated. So…………….in lieu of this, now I am asking for help counting those ballots. Counters will stay until their “bundles” have been confirmed. Please contact me if you are available. I need to hear from you before Tuesday, October 24, 2006.  ALSO, are you interested in becoming a ballot clerk?????  Call me!!!

During the Primary Election, I received several phone calls as a result of an article in the newspaper regarding “voting by phone”. This year, AT THE POLLING PLACE, there is a SPECIAL phone for voting. This service is provided for those who may not be able to vote in the traditional fashion. However, one has to come to the polling place to use it. YOU CAN NOT VOTE OVER THE PHONE FROM YOUR HOME!!!!
